About Palmetto Mobile Book Fair

Palmetto Mobile Book Fair is a locally owned, woman-led small business created out of a simple love for children’s books and community.

As a mom and a longtime book lover living on Daniel Island, I wanted to create something that brings families, schools, and kids together around the joy of reading. I saw how powerful book fairs can be for sparking excitement about books—but also how overwhelming they can be for schools to host. Palmetto Mobile Book Fair was born to make book fairs feel joyful, easy, and truly meaningful for the communities they serve.

We partner with schools, PTAs, libraries, and local organizations to bring thoughtfully curated children’s books directly to families—through in-person mobile book fairs, online eMobile Book Fairs, and flexible hybrid options. Our selections are chosen with care to meet kids where they are, from bright picture books and early readers to chapter books and graphic novels that kids can’t wait to dive into.

As a local business serving Daniel Island and the Lowcountry, community is at the heart of everything we do. A portion of every book fair supports classrooms and school libraries, helping put more books into the hands of children and supporting the educators who inspire them every day.

Palmetto Mobile Book Fair is about more than selling books—it’s about creating little moments of excitement when a child finds a story that feels like it was written just for them. That’s the magic we hope to bring to every fair.
